I really wanted to like these shoes because I thought they were cute and I appreciated that they are more light weight than most other lace up options. Unfortunately these are the most poorly constructed shoes I've ever owned and after less than two months of wear they have all but fallen apart.

Calling the soles "Rubber/EVA" Is extremely misleading. The soles are foam and wearing at the rate you would expect foam to wear at. It has been less than two months and in parts the tread is almost gone already. For reasons I cannot even begin to comprehend the heel is not even solid foam, but two empty chambers with a quarter inch of material in the middle, covered in a layer of literal paper that collapsed almost immediately so that if I remove the insole (also just foam) I can sick my finger into the heel of the boot. The one good thing that can be said of these boots is that even with the sole collapsed the foam material does provide a good spring and was comfortable for the first week or two. Even now they are not uncomfortable necessarily, but I can definitely feel the distinct line of the center of the heel that all my weight is distributed on.

The lace hooks are also cheap and keep getting squeezed together, the soles have started to separate from the body of the shoe, and the faux leather material has scraped off in places.
